What is the treatment process?

During your initial consultation we will determine whether clear teeth aligners can be used to correct your alignment concerns.

We will create a custom treatment plan for you based on digital impressions taken of your bite and smile. We do this digitally using the 3Shape Intraoral Scanner. These scans will be used to list how many aligners are required and how long your treatment is expected to take. The scans will be able to show you every movement involved.

These digital scans will be sent off to the dental laboratory, so that the manufacturing of your custom aligners can start.

Once we receive your aligners back at Starbright Dental, you will come in to receive them, and we will ensure that they fit.

During your treatment, you will be required to come back in every so often to mark your progress and receive a set of sequential aligners.

How long does the treatment take?

The clear aligners treatment time at Starbright Dental will vary among each individual as it will be dependent upon the severity of the misalignment.

You must also wear your aligners for at least 22 hours a day.
